Meeting the diverse needs of our members
Our corporate mission is to improve the health of our members and our communities by providing access to affordable, effective health care services, including long-term care services; being responsible stewards of our communities' health care premiums and health care resources; and seeking ways to continually improve the health and health care of the residents of the communities we serve.
We have partnered with many organizations to improve the quality of care that our members deserve. Regionally, we work with our educational institutions to improve the quality of care as well as encourage participation in medical and health care-related fields. We provide cross-cultural training for our health care providers through classroom training and a manual developed to train health care providers in specific cultural areas to eliminate the barriers that may exist.
